He focuses on business development, broker support, and operational excellence—ensuring that the team is well-positioned for long-term success.
A Bit About His Experience or Background
With over 12 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Deryk brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the organization. Before joining A Better Way, he was a Partner at Thrive Mortgage Co., where he spent nine years in personal production and helped fund over $1.2 billion in mortgages. His deep, hands-on understanding of lending policies, financial strategy, and team operations allows him to bridge the gap between strategy and execution seamlessly.
Something He’s Passionate About
Deryk is passionate about building meaningful relationships and empowering others to achieve their goals. He believes that integrity, collaboration, and doing the right thing are the foundations of lasting success—both in business and in life.
Fun Fact or Personal Note
Outside of work, Deryk is a proud husband and father to three young daughters. He enjoys golf, traveling, and spending time with his family on their farm.
