We’re excited to invite you to our next volunteer event with Backpack Buddies on Tuesday, October 3rd, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity to give back and make a difference in the lives of children who rely on these essential food packs.

During our time together, we’ll be working as a team to:

• Prepare and stock our packing stations.
• Fill bags with nutritious food items and load them onto pallets.
• Keep the food bins replenished throughout the pack.
• Break down packaging materials.
• Help with clean-up and recycling at the end of the shift.

The Backpack Buddies staff will provide a brief orientation to get us started and will be there to support us throughout the event.

Event Location: 170 Harbour Avenue, North Vancouver

Parking: There’s designated volunteer parking (3 spots) to the left of the loading bay, accessed off Burrow Street. Additional spots are usually available in the loading bay and in the staff parking lot at the end of Harbour.

Please note that traffic to the North Shore can be busy, so be sure to plan your travel time accordingly.
