Data Transfer/Letter of Direction Forms (for Existing Brokers) are attached if you would like to have your previous clients files transferred to ABW this will require your previous brokerage to authorize and sign off on the transfer. Please discuss with your Onboarding Specialist (Noted Above) on your call.

LENDERS
A Better Way has top-tier lender access which means you will have access to top compensation and underwriters. The following lenders require a personal sign-up and/or annual mortgage commitment. This sign-up process can take some time so if you intend to use any of these lenders start the process sooner to avoid delays and client impact. To ensure you have correct up to date contact information for each of the lenders listed below and all other lenders be sure to view the Lender Contact Sheet on the ABW Agent Intranet HERE.
- Scotia Bank: Please discuss this with Dean Lawton, he can be reached at dean@abwmortgage.ca. Scotia does have a minimum commitment of 5 million in funded volume per year with Scotia Bank and your first file must close within 120 days of sign-up.

Appraisals:
While some lenders permit direct appraisal orders, many require the use of third-party platforms such as Solidifi, NAS, or RPS. You are welcome to choose the provider that best suits your business needs. We recommend setting up your accounts with these providers as early as possible. To get started, please contact the representatives listed below.

PAYROLL and COMPLIANCE
In the next two weeks, you will receive an invite to your Dropbox folder from info@abwm.ca. The folder will consist of Compliance 2024 and Payroll 2024.
When it is time to process your FIRST PAYROLL you will upload the required documents to your Dropbox compliance file and complete the payroll checklist electronically here.

INSURANCE
Our Brokerage compliance requires you to offer MPP Creditor Insurance through Manulife. MPP will reach out to you to discuss the setup or transfer process. If you have yet to hear from them within two weeks please reach out directly to MPP Support @ support@brokersupportcentre.com
A BETTER WAY TEAM CALLS
We host team Lender Presentations via Zoom every Tuesday at 11 am PST. The calls are 30 minutes (sometimes having two lenders back to back) and are also recorded and uploaded to the ABW Agent Intranet. Weekly reminder emails are sent out confirming the lender and Zoom login credentials.
